  • For AI actions only the content you choose goes to api14, with your own key.
  • No account, no tracking.

What stays on your device

Projects, media files, settings and your api14 key are stored in your browser’s IndexedDB. video97 has no user database and no upload endpoint; our server only delivers the web app.

What goes to api14

Only when you start an AI action: your prompt, and — if the action needs it and you confirm — the selected frame, clip or clip audio. For the assistant, a summary of your timeline (clip times and labels) and, only if you allow it, transcripts. Requests go directly from your browser to api14.com with your key. api14 and the AI provider behind the chosen model process this data under their own terms.

Your api14 key

Stored only in this browser. It is never sent to video97, never logged and never included in exported project files. You can change or delete it in Settings at any time.

Analytics and cookies

video97 uses no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. Your theme choice is kept in local storage.

Deleting your data

Delete single projects in My projects, or everything in Settings → Storage → Delete all local data. Clearing your browser data also removes it.
